I have owned many oxo utensils over the years and they have always been sturdy and comfortable and long lasting.
That being said, these kitchen tools are sturdy and have good weight.

Price
For a starter set of 5 commonly used utensils plus the utensil holder, this is an excellent value.
Less expensive to buy the whole set than buying by the piece.
Cons: other reviewers are right, container height could be taller for the $$$.

We already have a solid group of cooking items spoon fork tongs and the like but all are rubber and she thought the addition of the metal would work better in certain situations

The base holder is nice albeit too short

This is an annoyance rather than problem having these tall spoons and forks leaning out and catching things
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
These are longer spoons and forks along with the metal from what we have so we can use them for things our others are not as good at

Tldr the front of the spatula isnt sharpened and the fork is only smoothed down on the outsides of the tines not the insides

The heads and shafts are made from the same piece of metal but the heads are thinned down and the handlesshafts left thicker much better quality than just stampedout
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The metal is nicely smoothed and polished except where noted above

I will probably do some smoothing on the fork myself though tapering down the front of the spatula will be harder
