Pros

Despite the balance toward the handle, the blade is substantial for this price-point. The grip is well balanced and doesn't seem to create pressure points which can be painful to arthritic hands. The ergos are great, it's a comfortable knife.

The blade is very sharp and retains its sharpness with basic maintenance. It's not great for thin-slicing tomatoes(also not bad) but it will go through butternut squash with no problem. I'm a cook, so i'm pretty good at sharpening knives by now, so it... Read More

I've got a henckels (actually had 2 but we apparently threw one out with the garbage).

However, they originally cost me and arm and a leg.

Competitiveness

I previously prepped with a set of wusthof knives and found this to be much lighter but comparable in ease of use/dexterity.

It's lighter weight with a thinner blade than our wusthof grand prix ii knives, so it's much easier to use.
