The mat features both inches and centimeter rulers. It has circular guides for rolling out the exact size crust you need. The border is a ruler!

Silicone mats are fantastic for baking cookies. If you try to do something crazy like broil with one it will melt. Takes very little flour smoothed over the surface to get the perfect non-stick surface.

Cleanup is easy – just wipe with a soapy towel or wash with soap and water. I worry with silpats that putting them in the dishwasher would eventually wear off their oily coating, but don't think that will happen with this item.

The pastry mat measures 24. Inches. It fits inside a full-sheet size baking pan. Since i can't fit a full sheet tray in my oven, i use this mat for so much more.

Cons

Oxo dough mat is a dud. It's dishwasher safe but hard to figure out how to load it without it interfering with water flow inside the dishwasher. Too big for even a large sink basin or dish drainer.

It's large and perfect for baking with my 6 year old, who is working to memorize all the conversions on the mat :dthe quality is great.

The quality of the mat is a+ and it rolls up easily without making any unwelcome marks on the mat while it sits in the kitchen cabinet.

Oxo says it is dishwasher safe although i find it easier to hand wash with the sprayer at my sink.

I have a bit of a hard time washing it off because its so large for my small sink it can get a little messy with the water.

Often times i will make the dough, roll it out and bake all on the same pastry mat.

It stuck to my granite countertop and didn’t move around while i rolled out the dough.

My cookies bake more evenly and come right off the sheet.
