Most have gotten the axe because they are either too thin and therefore not protective enough or so unwieldy that they are hard to hold and manipulate the things you are trying to work with

Rather than restart the experiment i decided that it was a draw and i couldnt think of a reason why i would need to carry a 450 degree dish around for more than 40 seconds anyway

I also like that you can spill a small amount of liquid on it and it wont absorb into the mitt and down to your skin but instead will run off
