Pros & Cons
Pros
The only drawback is the length. Still, this is a huge improvement over the traditional zig-zag wire masher. Oxo makes great kitchen and cleaning tools and gadgets, and this masher is one of the best.
Great purchase. Easy to push and twist.
For smoothe, creaminess, works better than the s-shaped potato masher tool. I like my potatoes and beans mashed more than blended and pureed. This little thing makes the smoothest mashies ever!
Sturdy, good mashing. Strong, well made. High grade stainless steel. Very durable and lasts.
Cons
Long metal shafts and flat head make for a poor design. The side wasn't welded very well. The ergonomics of the jamie oliver is far superior.
Very sad for a very dependable name brand. Lack of quality is apparent in the manufacture. I rather be robbed by the product.
Highlights
Quality
I've used it twice now and so pleased with the purchase.
Other than that it seems like a good quality, it’s easy to use, and easy to clean.
It’s easy enough to move back, but it’s not the quality i’ve come to expect from oxo.
Nothing wrong with the traditional handle position.
Packaging/appearance
Sometimes the potatoes get stuck in the masher.
