Pros

Oxo pillers are great. A bit pricey but so worth every penny. In my humble opinion are excellent.

Blade is nice and sharp so glides through veg. Easy to hold and peels extra thin. Goes in the dishwasher no problem. Takes the thinnest of slithers with ease.

Cons

The cerated edge is also dangerously sharp. Sliced my finger getting the protective sleeve off, must have been sharpened by unemployed samurai warriors. The blade gets stuck making it difficult to peel.

This item just shreds the vegetable. I wish i had bought the mandoline slicer sort instead. The shreds end up all being attached at the end and makes so much mess.

If it got chucked out with the veg peelings i’d buy one again.
