There are no clear sippy cups available instore and my son would only drink milk from a cup when he could see that it was milk and not water

The second issue was that the silicone insert did not completely inhibit the flow of liquid from the cup resulting in little puddles being left anywhere the cup was allowed to remain on its side for too long

Having owned both versions of this product i will say that i both would not have recommended the previous version and would have no hesitations recommending this version

That said i must also express my disappointment with oxo for not offering the updated lid and insert for sale separately because i suspect many people out there would rather spend 34 on a new lidinsert than 8 to buy the whole thing over again

The only thing i dont like about it is residue from the dishwasher gets trapped at the base where the handles snap onto the cup

It is removable but its not the easiest onoff it gets all scratched up in that area from said residue which makes it look kind of gross but thats really just a cosmetic issue i suppose

Shed bite the spout instead of suck it and she held the cup with just one hand by the handle so it was dangling awkwardly
