It suctions easily to the tray of our stokke tripp trapp high chair or to the wood table or laminate countertop. This thing has major suction! Unlike other suction plates, this actually stays no matter how hard he pulls.
A higher/taller rim helps babys scoop food up easier. One of my toddler's favorite thing to do is flip a plate full of food.
Cons

We were using the ezpz mats but my daughter very quickly learned how to pull those up.
I have a textured table so i bought the tripp trapp tray so i could use the ezpz mats but the tripp trapp tray is slightly textured too!

You have to rotate it and then it will unlock and come off

I typically hand wash it pretty soon after he is done eating but it doesn’t hold any order or flavor when coming out of the dishwasher
