To scroll through the four modes once the torch is on one just needs to lightly very light maybe 12 the pressure it took to turn it on press on the green button and it will cycle through the stages one by one

As for the zoom one just needs to lightly pull on the top part of the torch the ticker end with the lens and pull it out towards the direction of the light outward away from the user if light is pointing away from the user as well
