I would be the last to complain about what was delivered for the price but the unit i received was not capable of any degree of accuracy due to free play in the hinged connection and both mount ends of the press lever mechanism

This caused the drill bit to move 2 or 3 mm sideways as the lever was pulled down

However after careful filing down of the two lever mount points and a thin extra washer on the bolt side of the hinged joint virtually all slack movement was eliminated and the unit then worked with more accuracy than you would expect for the price

Light drill press jig it is light so needs clamping down and there is some sideways movement but it drills vertically

The base is described as cast iron but it felt very flimsy not strong enough to hold itself up let alone support a drill
