Pros

The dehydrator works great for drying out 3d printing filament. I use this dehydrator to dry the spool and it works great. It's very tricky to clean but that’s due to the holes needed to dehydrate.

Quality

Quality top notch and does the job rightly.

I've found this improves the quality of my petg printing significantly.

Filament absorbs water when left unsealed and the quality of the prints suffers badly and it goes brittle.

Once you do that, it turns out the machine will only hold around 3 bramley apples or a couple of pounds of plums sliced up.

Price

For the price this product is fantastic.

Hence the 4 stars for the product at its price point.

The cost of a dedicated filament dehydrator borders on £80!

You get what you pay for with this product.

Shipping

Product arrived swiftly and ahead if due date.

Packaging/appearance

It was packaged very well and was in perfect condition.

Competitiveness

Have looked at the 'printdry' product from the us at $99, but soon realised it's nothing more than a re-branded dehydrator.

I suspect there's a factory somewhere in the orient, producing these things by the million for various brands to be put on.

After reading the reviews i was a bit wary but i have used it to dehydrate vegetables herbs and even cheese

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

If you do cheese i found 12 fat cheese easier as it contains less oil i also lined it with parchment paper just draw around one of the trays and cut out a hole for the centre part

This product consists of a base unit five stackable trays and a top

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The base unit blows out warm air which passes up the stack over the food and out through the holes in the lid

I would like to say more of a positive nature because i really like this dehydrating thing and want to emphasise the positive before i point out the few drawbacks the product has

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Anyway sometimes it does what it says on the tin as another reviewer has said is enough

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Ok lets have a look at the drawbacks

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The first drawback is that the machine wafts out the scent of whatever you are drying and it may turn out that you dont like that scent all over the place
