Pros
The pedometer comes with an instruction manual, battery, mini screwdriver and lanyard. It comes with a strap that you can attach to your belt loop (or anything else really) it clips on and stays put. The battery uses a one 3vdc cr2025 battery.
It is very easy to set up and intuitive to use. I will enjoy and benefit from it as i anticipate my camino.
This is a much more compact design. It's slimmer and seems to be more resistant, since it looks like it's made of a denser plastic. You can completely adjust it to suit your specifications.
Cons
Tried drying it out by placing in rice then placing a fan on it and still no luck. My stride is 26 inches and since this only allows you set set your stride in quarter-feet i set it to 2.

Cos it can be left in my pocket it doesnt get snagged like some of the clipon types.
