I just took a teenytiny little washer from the hardware store you could also use a tiny rubber oring and slipped it onto the screw to act as a spacer before tightening it down

However if hogue or anyone else made a bantamstyle grip for k and lframed revolvers that actually covered the backstrap completely then i would probably install those immediately and toss these in the trash without looking back

The factory grip was just too small on the 686

The downside is that it looks like it was trimmed from the mold with box cutters

So if you are hoping for a laser cut fit mine didnt have it

And you have to be careful not to crank the screw in too far as it will pull thru the right side
