Pros

The pachmayr grips are a deep burgandy color and high gloss. These grips are the cats meow!

These fit my new production (2018) taurus 856 stainless. Fits an 856 perfectly.

Must have upgrade to taurus 605 revolver. Made the * look so much better also. Shot full house 357 loads, handled beautifully.

The grip fills my hand better and provides some extra purchase for my pinky--something the factory grip did not do.

The package comes with the grips, dowel pin and screw. Fit perfectly and snugly after replacing the factory grips pin with the internal pachmayr pin.

Cons

There is definitely discoloration on the wood compared to the other side. Bought these from lg outdoors and returned, not as avertised.

The pachmayr grips are a deep burgandy color and high gloss so they look great on my revolver.

They fit my sons taurus model 85 ultra-light and my wife's taurus model 856 like a glove.

I purchased my wife's model 856 used, and the guy i bought it from had removed the grip pin and didn't have it anymore.
