The go 44l is exactly that the main compartment is a large unencumbered space that i can pack into in any way i want

I think i understand the tradeoff the go series bags are lighter than other bags for their capacities so pacsafe probably made the choice to leave these support straps off to keep it lighter

The exp45 the bag i wound up keeping has both hip and chest straps but is also 2 pounds heavier than the go 44l
