The pockets inside the briefcase are not very deep but can hold things such as a mouse or phone, chargers etc. Zippers are sturdy and the main compartment zippers can be “locked” together. Love pacsafe products.

Depending on the thickness of your ipad case it may not fit in this section but would fit in the laptop section even with a laptop already inside

However if the main section is full it gives less flexibility in the outer compartment as this does not expand beyond putting in a notebook or a small umbrella
