I bought this product to paint my edges properly but this thing dosnt ever paint the corners

One piece that i definitely found subpar on the roller was the locking mechanism the holds the shield in place

I’m not sure if i simply didn’t know how to use this roller or if my expectations were too high after 5 days of painting and hoping for an easy way out
