Works faster in warmer weather. Here are some tips.

Slowly and incrementally pour the hardener into the paint while stirring the paint. Just drop it inside the can & close the lid, shake it around.

Works great on acrylic and latex paint. Layout some scrap cardboard as a work surface. Successfully hardens waste latex paint and stain for proper garbage disposal.

Cons

Tried this product with no luck. Let it set for several days and still, it didn't solidify.

Works great and quickly hardens unused latex paint.

I have used this product and few times now and it never disappoints, does a great job quickly hardening up to 3/4 of a gallon of paint.

Add powder and stir well when done paint almost looks like styrofoam .

Successfully hardens waste latex paint and stain for proper normal garbage disposal.

This product saved me $$$ time and effort.

Worth the money saved on going to the dump to recycle.

I bought 10 packs of these a few weeks ago at $2.

Packaging/appearance

I didn't like the idea of sneaking them into the trash, so i purchased these packets.

They're not kidding - 1 packet, 2 hours for 2/3rds of a can to be ready for disposal.

The small packet was enough for approximately a little over a quart of paint.

Not a hoarder, so to speak, but definitely a rat packer.

I used both versions so my comparison is valid.

And we significantly less expensive than a very similar product at our big box store.
