The heat of my dishwasher was too much for these specifically because they all shattered and cracked overtime. The photo here is the last one that broke as i was hand washing them.

During covid the prices were astronomical because of demand.

I can open a jar of spaghetti sauce use what i need as a single person pour the rest into a mason jar and vacuum seal with a foodsaver.
I used a measuring cup to put 32oz of water in it and it overflowed.

The mason jars are not flat at the bottom

Instead there is a domed bottom and it takes a bit of extra work to ensure the bottoms are truly clean

Hopefully it was just bad luck that 2 broke out of 6 that i had in the pressure cooker at 15 psi for 2 12 hours on the first time ever using them
