After extensive research i decided to purchase the 5 foil shaver that i paid $199 for with amazon as apposed to spending $424 for the new 6 foil version, the reason was that after reading many reviews that compared the 5 to the 6 the verdict conclusively found little to no difference in terms of the closeness, smoothness speed and in particular removal of long flat lying facial hairs between the two shavers it is important to note the model i chose was the es lv 97 which is the top of the line 5 foil model which included the cleaning station.  Read Less
