Glad i gave this one a shot, very smooth shave, it is much faster too, battery lasts a long time.
Comfortable and does a decent job to keep midweek stubble down.
The head on this razor moves up and down in addition to the other movements.
The older model works great but developed water leakes on two of them.
Price
I got this on sale, saved the $50 so i think it's worth it.
Not sure it's worth an extra $50.
Competitiveness
In my opinion the panasonic 5 blade razors are the best.
