The backstory i was trying to transfer to a computer using a cord and some software and all was going well until 2 tapes in i started to get horizontal lines in playback

The tape was rejected with the eject symbol that pops up on the vx

When my tape arrived i checked to see if it was the regular tape as opposed to cloth that other reviewers had posted about claiming that meant it was a fraudulent head cleaning tape
