It takes about 25% less time than our old microwave with the same wattage. This is the second panasonic microwave with a defrost inverter that we have owned. panasonic nn-sn65kb microwaves with inverter technology 1200w, 1.

Cons

The cord on my old microwave is loose, but not this loose. Panasonic expects me to pay for shipping to get it fixed. I will be calling panasonic and will let you know how they handle this issue.

I am very disappointed that this microwave lasted such a short time. The control panel is one of the worst i’ve ever seen. It is now out of warranty.

After a popping noise and some smoke, the unit no longer heats food (not surprising). The inverter tech sounds cool, but in reality it burns food. The turntable is extremely slow and noisy.

This is a great machine at a wonderful price.

Just what i was shopping for a microwave with decent features,great buy for the price.

I would like lighted control panel buttons, but you can't have everything for the $150 i paid on amazon's once a year sale days.

Packaging/appearance

It was damaged in an undamaged factory box.

Smaller than anticipated however packs a punch!

Competitiveness

Bought this panasonic microwave because it was most similar to the model we bought seven years ago which was highly satisfactory.

There are only a few things that i personally wish were better (but i'm a picky person).

Just sharing my great luck with the brand, although i don't think it's luck.
