Pros & Cons
Pros
Uses aa batteries instead of inbuilt rechargeable one. The charge lasts through 10 uses and the battery doesn't overcharge. The pañny has a charger base that the unit sits on to charge.
It is easy to manipulate and lightweight. It is smaller around and easier for my arthritic hands to grasp and operate. Decide based on price, added accessories, fluid capacity, and convenience.
Bottom of the panny is removable so you can still rinse it out. Portability means it can be used in the shower, which is so much easier than over the sink. The jet is well balanced and feels clean after using it.
Hangsun and panny are very similar but the hangsun is gentler than the panny. None of the cons are deal-breakers to me.
It has a very thin nozzle that the water is dispersed from making it a very effective at getting between the teeth with the stream of water that it disperses. They even come in different colors!
Cons
This is a piece of junk. Stopped charging after 9 months. If you return it you only get $6. Worst of all is when you discover how terrible it is.
Flossers get wet during use. This product is so goofy it makes me want to avoid flossing. It also breaks easily, and not just the flosser pick.
The on/off button is so hard to slide up and down you have to use a fingernail to grasp the ridge to make it move, because of course it's so slippery when wet. The slider is useless.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to use and plenty of power to clean around the gums and teeth
Easy to use and very satisfying results.
I got this to replace a very old panasonic rechargeable oral irrigator that still runs but started leaking after 12 years of daily use!
Even if you touch it you feel the quality difference and other products that have many advertisements but very low quality.
Shipping
By the time the replacement arrived, i tried again and the prior item worked, so i returned the replacement.
Competitiveness
The ew1511 is the one to buy because it has the fewest flaws.
I tried other cordless water flossers on the market.
It replaced a cheaper one of another brand which lasted only 6 months.
