Each handset comes with a charging base and a belt clip. More handsets can be added to expand the system. Best feature is that the phone can still work during a power failure using the battery charge stored in the handset to power the base.

The display is bright with good contrast and large alpha-numeric characters. Older adults and those with poor eyesight should not have difficulty. The instruction booklet is thick, and i haven't found that part yet.

Cons

Handsets have horizontal and vertical white lines, in a cross, that obscure/cross the'regular' dark/black printing on the readout screens. Range is not even 100 feet. There was no padding in the box what so ever.
