The upvert concersion quality was, to me, amazing.
Let no one tell you the vcr quality is not good.
I only have 2 blu-ray movies and they were loaded quickly(<30 sec) and picture quality is very good.
Price
I love this one and price was great too.
In the end, this unit does everything i need and does it well and the price was great.
Both my mother and i got one at the time, since the price was so good, and we both needed a new vcr player.
Don't get me wrong i really want it,yet the price would take two pay days worth of what i get to afford one.
Shipping
I wish when vhs initally came out the standard was as fast as this machine.

Surprised i haven't worn out the blu-ray player.

This panasonic combo unit (bluray + vhs) simplified my life.
The panasonic dmp-bd70v blu-ray player is awesome; easy set-up and easy play!

The youtube feature is a bit lame searching is tedious but works well with my wireless network used a wireless game bridge for access this unit does not have wifi built in

I had contemplated upgrading my entire collection of disney vhs but this machine has made it possible to hold on to a piece of the past just a little bit longer

My only complaint is that although the product advertises that it supports panasonics viera cast feature it really only supports a limited version of viera cast because panasonic has chosen not to allow its 2009 products to connect to the new netflix streaming service that is available through products with real viera cast support
