Pros & Cons
Pros
It's also in mist form and not too hot if you keep your face from stream output in the recommended distance by manufacturer. Compact design--steam comes out very quickly.
It preps my skin for cleansers and products i use after. Good steamer for the face, not only to cleanse the skin but also good to breathe hot mist for decongestion.
The product was shipped from japan and arrived within two weeks. Very happy with the product and the seller, would highly recommend buying from japanisque.
A good streamer, a kendall microdermabrasion machine and a dermal roller & baby. Money well worth spent.
Cons
Use distilled water. Steam starts coming out within a matter of seconds. I regret purchasing it since i really can't use it because it does not work properly.
Highlights
Quality
It is nice in quality and the steam is a nice, consistent flow.
So far, i am very happy with this purchase.
Also not comfortable with the surprisingly high cost.
I jus wish it were ok to add essential oils--i would try but i would hate to clog it--love the product.
Price
Also, i use this so often that i did not want to wait for water to boil on the stove so the price is definitely worth it to me.
I've seen the price has risen substantially since i purchased a year ago.
Competitiveness
I think it's more sanitary and cost efficient than a skincare brush (i own a clarisonic and prefer this steamer).
Since using it, my skin is much softer and more glowy.

Also the there are 2 different water level markings which i think make it confusing for the user as it wont work if there isnt enough water in it

As one reviewer said it could seem not much more effective than a shower or a pot of boiling water
