Pros & Cons
Pros
At the same price, it’s a no-brainer. I know it's an expensive shaver but well worth it. Panasonic is one of those companies that makes a lot of things… some are, good some are not… but they have always been the best company when it comes to electric ... Read More
Just pop the shaver in and press select and the default of clean and dry will occur. It does a solid job at cleaning up the cartridge and removing hair. The cleaning base is an added bonus. It cleans itself so thats a plus.
The arc6 razor is louder than the braun. The braun is many years old, same battery, new head and working. This is so much better than phillips and especially braun.
The arc6 head is multi-directional. The head itself also pivots every which way imaginable. The heads all maneuver in their own ways in order to shave around the contours of your face.
This shaver is silky smooth and get me lined up nicely. Closest shave yet. Smooth as silk on short stubble.
Cons

Highlights
Quality
Have always appreciated the quality and design.
He states this is one of the best he has ever had and the battery life is great.
Every time i got a new norelco razor replacement blade set, they always seem to get dull after two or three weeks.
Press and hold the power button for more than two seconds.
Price
If you can afford the premium price it shaves close, cleans easily, and is a wonderful razor.
It's not worth the price amazon wants ($415) i got mine for $325 on ebay.
00 advertised for a baseline arc5, $339.
It is worth paying more for it but over $400 is nuts.
Competitiveness
It shaves so much better than braun and norelco.
The multigroom is a better choice than both the arc6 and series 7.
There's a lot of marketplace competition so perhaps panasonic was looking for a design that would stand out, generate sales.
So everything stated below is in comparison of the arc 6 to the braun 9477 cc that comes with a charging case.
