I felt it was exaggerated and not a fault of the product.
Works with the latest version of panasonic rechargeable batteries.

This is a fast and smart charger after all.
Competitiveness
Probably best eneloop charger out there right now.
I had a panasonic charger for eneloop batteries, that seem to take 6-8 hours.
My old eneloops charger made a pulsing sound and had one light for the 4 batteries.

The ladda batteries are made in japan which many reviewers who use this battery say are made in the same factory that makes the eneloop batteries

Have found that almost always when charger indicates that a battery is bad that simply taking out and putting it back in place or simply rolling the battery in place causes a better connection and then it charges
