The adjustable guide would let straight hair through ok but wavycurly whiskers would not go through the narrow gaps in the wraparound adjustable comb evenly

I had to make five or more passes to get most of the whiskers trimmed and still had an uneven trim

I finally compromised with a wraparound mustache guard that would work more or less if i held it out carefully… mehso i ordered the panasonic trimmer
