Pros

Quieter than the original fan. Twice as louder than the previous (very quiet) fan, but not too loud. Powerful and much quieter than my previous much less powerful unit. It delivers the results i had planned.

This exhaust fan is very powerful. It pushes a ton of air. I never had that problem with the dinky fan it replaced.

Have been installing nutone, broan and panasonic fans for 25 years. This unit is my second panasonic fan purchase. The only issue is that the electrical box is nearly flush with the bottom of the unit.

The key is to connect the * directly to the header and joist. Comes with nice heavy duty hardware to install over rafters or floor joists.

Cons

This wasn't an inexpensive fan. Mounting mechanism is so basic, missing a few bolts? Electric box is too close to the *. No way to insert the fan through the hole without removing the exhaust port.

Didn't want to replace 4 inch exhaust pipe so used a tapered 6in to 4in adapter from lowes and some foil tape.
