One of the features i found that wasnt in the specs info was that you are able to retrieve and erase your messages from the handset as well as from the answering machine

Also if you let the answering machine take the call it automatically allows you to monitor the msg from the handset speakerphone

The only minor thing is that the caller id shows each and every incoming call even if they are from the same caller whereas my old panasonic phone just kept the latest caller id info and updated it time and date whenever a new call came in from the same caller

Even the speakerphone on the handset has very good sound quality
