Pros

The * are big and standout well. Speakerphone works well. Oversized numbers and * is a nice touch.

These phones are not fancy but, when you need a corded two-line phone, they get the job done. I need to select which line i want and lock it there with a pushbutton. Since i have 2 lines it fulfills my purpose perfectly and at a great price.

It fits well on the wall. It sticks out from the wall a tiny bit more compared to the old phone. Lcd screen works well, though hubby wishes it could be brighter.

Cons

Never again, panasonic. The sound quality remains less than mediocre and my family refuses to use it. They also place the mic on the phones to make it hard for the mics to pick up. It does not have caller id, and has fewer features than most cordless ... Read More

I had purchased one knock off brand and it was garbage in one month.

That's such a basic feature that one might reasonably assume a phone with an lcd display would support that feature.

So then i turned to amazon hoping to find one at a reasonable cost w/o answering machine as this is the upstairs phone.

Beautiful, new condition in a slightly crushed cardboard box.

Also, it was packaged with no extra packaging, no amazon brown box - just the phone's box like you'd put in a cart at walmart.

Competitiveness

This phone replaced our 26-year-old panasonic phone with similar features.

(tried other available brands but all had flaws.
