Since this is a discontinued camera i bought another one. Now i need a replacement, all i have is the battery charger. The original battery lasts a long time.

Panasonic lumix dmc-zs3 is my favorite point & shoot camera so far. The lack of a cmos sensor is its only disadvantage. It's a minor disadvantage compared to what you get for advantages in picture sharpness and fluid movie-taking.

A warning was displayed stating system error (zoom). Also the battery life is pathetic. When you call tech support, they say an agent will be with you in 8-10 minutes. An hour later after listening to the recording over and over no one ever comes.

They have total ticked me off. It is like they are torturing you!

The dmc-zs3 is a grainy, noisy, blurry camera. Zs3 only shows about 80% of the screen.

Flash is horrendous. Red eye reduction works sometimes, but still drowns out the backgrounds. Also the flash isn't timed with the shutter.
