I used to take all kind of pictures and the quality is great.
This is not a scuba or snorkeling quality underwater camera.
Picture quality is okay, but for the price, it is a cool little camera to take to the beach, snorkeling, or anywhere rugged.
Picture quality has been good, and typically we have not needed to use the spare battery and charger for over 200 pictures each trip.
Competitiveness
Had it for 3 years, love the macro zoom option, rechargable battery and underwater option.
