Highlights
Quality
I don't have a clue about the current quality of this product but the one i purchased in 2012 has stood up well for almost 7 years now.
I can't speak to the people who have had problems with theirs but i am a very satisfied customer.
I have been use it for two years, everything is still good, the quality is ok, however, the white appearance become old.
Overall quality seem not a premium quality thermo pot, but it is still good.
Price
At that price, i would probably look at other options before buying it again.
I see that the price has risen to $109 as of the date of this review.
Shipping
Boiled so fast and shut off right away
Packaging/appearance
By cleaning, i mean unscrew the three screws on the lid.
Competitiveness
I been using a 1qt for awhile and it broke down on me (different brand).
A new zojirushi model has a feature where it will teach the temp you want and stop without going to full boil (212).
If you want more bells and whistles look at zojirushi brand but you'll have to pay twice as much.
