The vacuum cleaning system is a game-changer. This works beautifully and painlessly.

The trimmer operates on a single aa battery, which lasts a considerable amount of time. Battery life and maintenance are hassle-free. replaced old trimmer with a new panasonic model, works well but sometimes stops.
Cons
Piece of garbage. In genera horrible experience with the item and amazon return policy on this specific item. Not looking for a refund or exchange.
Just buy yourself a braun or other brands. Changed battery, nothing. It makes a faint buzzing noise when i turn it on. Stalls out when used to trim nose or ear hair.

It does appear to drain the battery quickly so you might have an hour or so of use or less

Also the power switch is finicky and sometimes doesnt want to turn on

Finally the slits to cut the hair are really small so you have keep twisting around the device in the nose in order to try to clip hairs

Also if the hairs are too long they are harder to trim since the hairs will curl in nonstraight angles
