Pros
The only complaint i have is that the so called lighted remote is not really lighted. No damage. Able to access and download the manual from the internet.
Tapes in lp mode hold 4 hours and play better in my panasonic than other vcrs. Picture quality is better than my jvc 4 head hi fi vcr.
Cons
It is barely out of warranty and just pooped out. Misleading product description. Should be entitled to a partial refund.

All features worked as advertised and the remote was excellent as well.
Plays my old tapes with same quality picture and sound.
My vhs machine was unused for over 10 years, powered up, all good, loaded the first tape, pressed “play”, then a big nothing.
Tried to eject, tape was stuck and the machine died, no power.
Price
I will admit i “sprung” for a vhs head cleaner, very inexpensive, also available on amazon.
It was cheaper for me to purchase a used machine.
Shipping
Received the vcr (panasonic vp-9450) 5 days ago, on the scheduled date and the product was exactly as described.
The seller promptly addressed my questions and provided feedback including additional information on the item and their policy.
I understand there was a length of time for the item to arrive but i was sick myself, so no harm done.
The product arrived on the date promised.
Packaging/appearance
New universal remote in original packaging included.
The packing was superb and the vcr worked quite well.
Also packed new rca av cables which was a surprise.
Competitiveness
The picture quality is better than my jvc 4 head hi fi vcr.

Not sure what he wrote in the earlier posts but while i am up and around and slowly put the vcr together ripping out the old rca that recorded but had no sound

I dont play tapes extensively but it does serve the purpose it was intended to

Whenever the power goes out and comes back on the clock instantly sets itself

I can program up to 8 different blocks of time and it only takes about 30 seconds to program for one recording
