Pros & Cons
Cons
Bought as cd player and radio but impossible to tune radio as dab or fm even after calling panasonic technicians. Sound quality is average.
Highlights
Quality
The sound quality is fantastic: a real resonance and the same for my cds.
The general sound quality from cd's and the radio is excellent for the size of the unit.

Without the aerial there is no dab radio reception.

We took a lot of time choosing a unit and we wanted one to fit our budget, we are very happy with this.
Got this as a warehouse return with extra 30% off so under £125.

Competitiveness
The sc-dm502-k has extremely good sound quality - better than the more expensive pure evoke cd-6.
Disappointing really as at least one other cheaper unit has a built-in aerial which receives dab and a connector for an additional aerial.
There is a lack of depth compared to the bose.
Although this unit produces pretty good sound it is not as powerful as bose but at less than half the cost is a good replacement.

Working from home and from the back bedroom i have no access to my main sound system located in the lounge unless cranking it up of course but one does have to consider neighbours even though we are not adjoined and having a huge collection of cds that were lying around idle i decided upon buying a small hifi system
