A water flosser does a good job of getting bits of debris stuck between teeth out but it does not clear 100 of plaque buildup and still requires some manual cleaning with an interdental brush to fully clean between the teeth

This particular water flosser from panasonic has has 5 levels of intensity so its really customisable but honestly i think having 5 options is too many i stick with medium as i find high is too harsh on the gums

Starting off with your first time using it it’s recommended to stick with low intensity to get used to the water pressure and to lean over the sink when using it expect some water splashing to go over your mirror whilst you get accustomed to how it works

Also always use warm water as cold water will likely trigger some pain and sensitivity
