Pros

It's super simple to clean and simple to use. The pan wipes clean easily. I always hand wash the pan and the lid to increase longevity, so i have nothing to say about how they last in the dishwasher.

It cooks long grain white rice and jasmine rice perfectly. I like that it shuts off after cooking, i don't have to unplug it.

My hubby loves this thing. Nice and compact.

Cons

Not good, panasonic. The quality is really flimsy and not the greatest. The product received has a damage.

Lid does not fit, it sits lopsided. There is no vent hole for steam to escape.

I am very satisfied as i knew about panasonic products.

With a rice cooker/warmer let the rice sit overnight in a rice warmer and it's only good as fried rice with the bottom rice baked solid.

Packaging/appearance

Small mount of water boiling over around the edges of the see-through cover is the only downside to the finickiest buyer.

Competitiveness

Someone gave me a zojirushi, but i didn't end up using it because this one fits my needs so well, i didn't need anything fancier.

Hope this one last for more than my 1st panasonic rice cooker.
