Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons
The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

Lightweight and compact. Easy to rinse out. Buy one before it's discontinued.

Panasonic shaves much closer than the norelco. Takes less time to shave fully because this one cuts cleanly, smoothly, and with better coverage.

Runs fine on rechargeable nimh aas. But for $30 and to use for travel.

Only limitation is the size of the outer foil.

Cons

The blades inside are good for nothing. After one use, it cannot be deemed acceptable as a shaver. Does not shave as it is supposed to. No english instructions.

Quality

Works great, best razor i have ever gad.

Simple to use and really works great!

Batteries last over a month of daily use, so it doesn't justify buying rechargeable ones.

Norelco doesn't fail, but it goes dull, and even when sharp and new takes too many passes/swipes to get the job done.

Price

I think some people expect the same shave you get from a $200+ razor .

But for $30 and to use for travel .

I had been using the panasonic electric travel shaver, es3831k (single blade) for a number of years, but the price went way up recently.

Packaging/appearance

Judging from the language on the packaging, it's the japanese model, and is surprisingly light.

Competitiveness

I like a close shave, and panasonic models have done better than wet/dry rechargeable models from other manufacturers.

It also shaves very close, even closer than my much more expensive braun shaver.

I've bought other razors from other brands, and prefer this one the most.

The panasonic twin-x compact 2-blade shaver es4815p is far better than the es3831k, which caused significant razor burn and cuts.
