Pros

Blu-ray and hdtv look absolutely stunning. Standard dvds still look very good too because most blu-rays will upconvert them a bit. My girlfriend reminds me that the set size is as tall as her-65.

If you have any doubts whether panasonic is the right choice for plasma. Don't hesitate to buy this tv. As an avid plasma fan (the only way to watch live sports on tv versus led or lcd) this tv is an amazing value for the cost.

The only drawback of this set (and a lot of plasmas) is the glare. Videos very good with no stop or glare. I'm a big fan of plasma, i think the picture has a much warmer/softer look to it.

Cons

The 2009 lineup of panasonic plasmas are a resounding dud. Panasonic only gives you a 1 year warranty which means that they won't stand behind their so called quality product.

Price

This is a great tv for the sale price (480$).

This is a really great tv at a reasonable price.

Vann's seemed to be the biggest and their price was within a dollar of electronics expo.

Price was great, ordered it on a sunday and it was in my house and set up by the following friday.

Shipping

He called the shipping company and confirmed they could.

I had paid a low 379 dollars for it and there were no shipping charges.

Packaging/appearance

Sometimes in the upper middle of the tv slightly the the right as you view it seems brighter.

Competitiveness

I also like the automatic switching to hdmi input when using a panasonic blu-ray player.

The black levels are so amazing and when coupled with blu-ray.

With a blu-ray player, it will knock your socks off.

I added the blu-ray dvd player, have yet to try a blu-ray disc, but we're ready for them.
