Pros

Panasonic razer is one of the best foil razers you can buy for the buck. It's water proof, so i can use it with shaving cream, or in the shower. The shave is close, although a proper shave with a razor can be closer.

Cleaning cartridges are much cheaper than norelco or braun. It's rechargeable, and easily holds a charge for two weeks. All you need is fresh water in the bin and this hard-detergent pack/filter module for a month of cleaning.

Cons

Cartridges are useless when the charger base itself no longer works. It is useless because you need the vortex cleaning system which my shaver doesn't need. For some reason the smell of cartridges are not fresh and good. Perhaps it is only sufficient ... Read More

The panasonic wes035p vortex is not nearly as good as the reviewers say it is. It does not shave closely on the neck or jaw, wet or dry. Don't buy this razor based upon the reviews.

Competitiveness

Plus it’s a 3-pack so they last a long time before you have to buy another!

I am 78 yrs old and have had my share of razers with cleaning stations.

Someone should create a 3rd party solution to this -or panasonic can create a system that has a cleanable/reusable filtering system.
