The puzzle mechanic in every battle is annoying. Instead of anything resembling an rpg fight system, you get a puzzle, which is complicated, while still not motivating me to learn it.

Battle mechanic is a joke. Lack of sidekicks makes this virtually unplayable.

"this game is boring, overpriced, and not an improvement in the series. Gone (probably forever) are the rpg elements of earlier games and companions are all but useless.

The game spends an inordinate amount of time holding your hand. It is a blatant effort to pad the playtime, and it is intensely frustrating. It's just so unsatisfying and pointless that it makes you question why you even wasted the time.
