If your doctor is talking to you about starting metformin or youre already on a dosage 2000mgday and its not working as well as it used to years ago talk to your doctor about starting a new medication that doesnt scare you so many diabetes drugs wind up on tv commercials for lawsuits later so i understand this fear

Or make a plan to be more aggressive with your diet and exercise and get medical advice about using banaba leaf in addition to metformin or whichever first line med youre on

Sidenote when doctors prescribe the newer heavyduty diabetes drugs for nondiabetics ozempic and the like classes for the offlabel use of weight loss know that it threatens the supply of these for people who actually need them and its a dire situation right now and that because those medications currently have no generics and wont for a set time period due to patent laws and regulatory issues those doctors make money from pharma companies by prescribing them to you

Check out the user reviews on sites wherein people describe er visits and graphic changes in quality of life after taking those medications for offlabel weight loss use and ask yourself if shedding weight is worth your long term health and quality of life
