    I’ll admit i didn’t have a ton of money to start with and i was using cheap tools my first digital caliper i started out with was a cheap plastic 1 manual 6 inch caliper i picked up at my local hardware storehome hardware and those worked great until i broke them

    However in all honesty after using park’s stainless steel dc1 now i honestly regret not buying these right out of the gate especially when i knew i had enough money saved up

    The dc1 were much cheaper in 2017 like 50…i’ll comeback to this point later

    So despite that concern thanks to pt’s limited lifetime warranty which pt will ether ask the customer to send in to have fixed if repairable or will replace for free if there are manufactured defects in there products so that gave me peace of mind

    First one i bought had a battery come apart inside and render the tool useless
