Pros & Cons

Pros

I'm glad i purchased the ts-8. It's not cheap, but it's very well made and it's good value for the money.

The slider now moves smoothly with precision. The only negative is you need a screwdriver to tighten one of the arms that support your axle. The mechanism for moving the caliper in and out is a little bit of a hassle to deal with.

It stands solidly on its own, only rocking if you give the wheel a good spin. Heavy enough to use as-is without bolting it to something else.

Cons

The next problem is the sliding arm itself. The traveling arm has too much vertical motion. This makes for sloppy results when dealing with a tool which is supposed to be used for precision.
