While this tool isnt cheap im sure it will last the rest of my life and after all going to a bike shop would have cost as much or more

The pts1 looks like an awkward tool somewhat resembling channel lock pliers that plumbers use but the jaws dont line up with each other and the handles are looking rather thin for whatever reason

Previously i had trouble even getting a tire lever under the bead when i tried to use my bare hands to push the tire as far away from the rim as possible

Even with the help of the pts1 it took a fair bit of force and multiple bead unseating using tire levers to finally remove both tires

Purchased some tires for a gravel bike that were very hard to get fully seated had to do the soap trick kinda worked but messy
