It's lighter, prettier and simpler to use. I pass the dough through every other number and use flour so that it doesn't stick.
Great value for an awesome product. Seems very sturdy.
Cons
Expect 2 modes, thin noodle sticks together. Thin noodle mode.

Kitchenaid is all stainless steel but that just makes them heavier and harder to clean
